Little Rock, Arkansas (February 27, 2025) – Summit Utilities, Inc. (Summit) is pleased to announce that Jane Park has joined the company as Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer. A seasoned litigator and senior executive, Park brings 25 years of legal, regulatory, and policy experience in the energy sector to her new role. She will be based in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Park joins Summit following nearly 15 years at Exelon Corporation, where she held several senior executive roles leading federal regulatory and legislative affairs, public policy, state regulatory affairs, and customer operations. Prior to Exelon, Jane was a partner at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, specializing in complex litigation. Her expertise in energy regulation and policy, litigation, and business strategy, makes her a valuable addition to Summit’s leadership team. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard and a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School.

Park succeeds Hallie Gilman, who has served as Summit’s CLO since 2019. During her tenure, Gilman played a pivotal role in guiding the company through acquisitions and transitions, strengthening Summit’s legal and regulatory framework.

Jane Park Bio:
Jane Park is a seasoned litigator and senior executive leader with 25 years of legal, regulatory, and policy experience in the energy sector. A former litigation partner at Kirkland & Ellis, LLP, Jane has broad expertise in complex commercial litigation, class action defense, and dispute resolution. From Kirkland, Jane went on to spend close to 15 years at Chicago-based energy company Exelon in various senior executive roles, including most recently as senior vice president of Exelon’s federal regulatory and legislative affairs and public policy group where she worked to advance grid reliability, resiliency, transmission, and energy transition issues. Jane has extensive experience with state energy regulatory matters, serving as VP of state regulatory affairs and in-house counsel at Exelon. Jane also brings strong utility operational and business strategy expertise as former SVP & Chief Customer Officer where she led energy efficiency, demand response, contact center, customer experience, and marketing.
Jane is an active member of her community and serves on a number of national and local boards, including the Washington D.C.-based Center for Climate and Energy Solutions (C2ES), the Women’s Congressional Policy Institute (WCPI), the Chicago Public Library Foundation, and the Chicago Botanic Garden. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard University and a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School.
