Summit Natural Gas of Missouri Commits $60,000 To Five Area Non-Profits

Five area non-profits will receive a $4,000 grant donation from Summit Natural Gas of Missouri for three consecutive years

Lebanon, Missouri (August 15, 2023) – Summit Natural Gas of Missouri (Summit), a subsidiary of Summit Utilities, Inc., announces it is committing a total of $60,000 in grant donations to five area non-profits. Each non-profit will receive the $4,000 grant in 2023, 2024, and 2025. Summit's new multi-year community giving grant program aims to allow chosen qualifying non-profit organizations to launch programs or continue their existing work that strengthens the social fabric of the communities Summit serves. The program's purpose is to provide sustained support for ongoing charitable programs while building lasting relationships between Summit and community organizations.

"Summit is committed to forming meaningful partnerships in the areas we serve, and we are honored to provide this resource for the next three years to local non-profits," said Phil Marcum, Senior Manager of Business Development for Summit.

The organizations receiving the three-year grant funding are not-for-profit 501(c)(3) status organizations in the Summit service area. They are:

  • Benton County Food Pantry
  • Daviess County Multipurpose Senior Center, Inc.
  • Elevate Branson
  • Martha Vance Samaritan Outreach Center
  • Caldwell County Food Pantry

Summit is a community-oriented company, and in addition to supporting community causes, Summit also provides members of its team with up to 20 hours of paid time off each year to volunteer in the communities it serves.
