Summit Natural Gas of Missouri Named One Of Biz 417’s 2023 Best Places to Work

Lebanon, Missouri (June 15, 2023) – Summit Natural Gas of Missouri (Summit) is named one of Biz 417’s 2023 Best Places to Work in the large employer category. The Southwest Missouri regional awards program identifies, recognizes, and honors the best places of employment in the area. The annual awards program was created by Biz 417 in partnership with Best Companies Group.

“This outstanding achievement is a testament to our commitment to cultivating an empowering work environment,” said Mitch Pebley, Director of Operations for Summit Natural Gas of Missouri. “At Summit, our dedicated team members are passionate about providing the best natural gas utility service to Southwest Missouri and all the areas we serve.”

A two-part process determines Biz 417’s Best Places to Work. The first part evaluated each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, and demographics. This process was worth approximately 25% of the total evaluation. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. This process was worth approximately 75% of the full assessment. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking.

Summit will be recognized and honored at Biz 417’s Best Places to Work awards ceremony on Wednesday, September 13, 2023. The final rankings will be announced at the event.
